Thank you Tom Izzo

Thanks Tom. These past few days have brought a community and state together for a common cause that will most likely be forgotten about when Midnight Madness comes around.
Often times a coach of a college basketball team has to help his players choose if they should leave college for the pros, and just recently Izzo got to trade places with his students (not for the first time though).
Izzo could have decided to leave East Lansing and move down to Cleveland to coach arguably the best professional basketball player right now. But he didn’t.
As an MSU student and alumni, I am glad that Tom decided to stay at MSU. The basketball program has helped the university tremendously, and much of the thanks go to Mr. Izzo and his family.
National Championship Game for Michigan State!

Summers Time!
We’ve made it to the National Championship game! I’d like to say it was because of my involvement with the Izzone this year that we have made it this far 😉 , but I would have loved to go to the actual games down in Detroit. I was all ready to purchase the tickets, but due to a website bug, some people were allowed to purchase tickets while the vast majority of people trying to purchase kept getting errors.
I’ll be in East Lansing watching the game on TV (or maybe if I’m lucky I’ll be down on the Detroit riverfront behind the Renaissance Center watching the game at one of the many outdoor viewing parties) on Monday at 9:00pm.
LET’S GO STATE!

I got to todays game a little late so my seat was in the last possible row of the Breslin Center. It also had some nicities. Nobody in the Izzone tried to walk on my seat to get by, and my seat was in front of the isle, so I didn’t have anybody blocking my view. Here is what it looked like from up there:
