YouTube Playlist Downloader 1.1.2 released
29 June, 2009 § 4 Comments
I’ve just released a new version of my YouTube Playlist Downloader. This is a quick bug fix that should help out some users who had troubles getting the program to run.
You can download version 1.1.2 of YouTube Playlist Downloader here for free. As always, let me know any comments you have and I will try to incorporate them in to the next version.
In this version, I removed the check at program start up to see if the computer has the required version of the .Net framework installed. I have now switched over to a ClickOnce application, and the installer will check for .Net before you can install YouTube Playlist Downloader. This should help many people with the issues that they were experiencing when trying to run the program. Also, this will help when releasing new updates since you will be notified automatically when one is released.
I like its simple, buy the programm gives an error 404 and you cant download playlist, only video by video
Thanks for using the program and I’m sorry that it doesn’t work well for you. I have not used the program in some time and I am not sure what all still works.
People are being mistaken for this program as a tool to download all the songs off a youtube playlist. This program only lets you do one video at a time. Either do something with the name or add in a feature for playlist downloading please.
Yeah…. the project is open source and I haven’t had much time lately to devote to it. Originally it did allow people to download playlists, but apparently that functionality is broken. If you or someone you know of is willing to provide a patch that fixes playlist downloading, I would be happy to review/publish it.
