Solution to my programming puzzle

Two days ago I posted a programming puzzle that I made. This post will cover how I made it and describe how to solve the puzzle. Don’t read ahead if you still want to solve the puzzle first.

Wanna join the Firefox team at Mozilla? (solve the puzzle)

I’m close to reaching the 1-year mark at Mozilla and it has been a blast! I learned about Mozilla from Kevin Dangoor when he placed a similar puzzle on his website. I later interviewed on the day of the Firefox 4 release and have been around for the many releases after it.

We’ve got some large projects that we want to tackle in 2012 and beyond, and we’re looking for some people to help out in making Firefox even more splendid.
