Updated Recommended Readings

I’ve updated my recommended readings today. While I took a break from posting on this blog, I’ve read a couple more graphic novels written by Will Eisner. The Plot really introduced me to a genre of books that I hadn’t paid enough attention to before.
I’ve now read A Contract With God and Fagin The Jew, and am currently reading Will Eisner’s New York. At the same time, I’ve been reading Pang-Ning Tan‘s Introduction To Data Mining for class (along with recent publications).
While at StackOverflow DevDays, I heard a talk from Greg Wilson, a professor at University of Toronto. He talked briefly about his book, Beautiful Code, and I have added it to my planned reading list. Also added to my planned reading list is the book Coders At Work. I have heard a lot of great reviews about the book online, and Cameron Flint reminded me of it and so I have taken this opportunity to put it on the list so it is not forgotten.
I am planning on putting up a review of the StackOverflow DevDays conference here soon.
